Hi Vidar,

The problem is fixed. I used 'sysbuild' in my application.

The root cause is the device tree precedence. I defined the \boards\nrf5340dk_nrf5340_cpuapp.overlay first, then defined the ipc and the reserved-memory in an application overlay.
The build system will stop when it finds a board overlay, so the application overlay was ignored in this situation.

After I moved the ipc and the reserved-memory definition to the board overlay, it was fixed.
BTW, where can I find the 'Partition Manager' if I use a multi-image build?

Hi,

Are you able to provide a minimal version of your project for me to debug on my end? Note that the memory partitions are controlled by the Partition Manager if you are performing a multi-image build. The devictree partitions are then ignored.

Are the error codes defined in C:\ncs\toolchains\c57af46cb7\opt\zephyr-sdk\arm-zephyr-eabi\arm-zephyr-eabi\sys-include\sys\errno.h?

In this file, all error codes are positive values，
#define ENOMEM 12 /* Not enough space */

Seems this code is not the error reason.
