&lt;p&gt;Are you able to see other logs on UART from the custom board?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;While that guide is older, I often find it easier to follow myself.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can you give the output of the extcap init script?&lt;/p&gt;
