&lt;p&gt;I have the ESP32 VSCode Kit before, the setting.json as Figure 1.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Delete the old one then VSCode re-build the new one auto. (Figure 2)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Duo to the path is only for the nRF Connect project so the red wave warning line is gone.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The red wave warning line was gone, I deleted all of the VSCode kits and deleted the &amp;quot;setting.json&amp;quot; file in the&amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\Code\User&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Re-install the nRF connect &amp;amp; VSCode app, then reboot the PC again. And then copy a new sample to run a new build.&lt;br /&gt;No red warning lines are appearing. (Figure 1)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have experienced that the intellisense in VScode sometimes acts up and gives false positives. However when I ctrl+click on the include files I can still jump to the files.&amp;nbsp;It often goes away if you run a pristine build on your project.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
