Does the v2.5.0 option show up if you press the 'set active toolchain' option in the Manage Toolchain menu?

Have you made sure to install the nRF Connect SDK v2.5.0 from the Toolchain Manager prior to going in to set the active SDK?
==> Yes
Does the v2.5.0 option show up if you select the 'set default toolchain' option in 'Manage Toolchains'?
==> No,
When i click Manage ToolChain; it lists only below:
1. Install Toolchain
2. Uninstall Toolchain
3. Set Active Toolchain
4. Open Terminal Profile
5. Open Toolchain Directory
6. Validate Toolchain

Hi Karl,

I have already tried 'manage toolchains' -> Set Active SDk

But it does not have any option display to modify it.

Kindly suggest.

Hello,

I see - the description in the DevAcademy course is a little outdated with the latest release of the nRF Connect for Desktop VSC extension, and so you should now use the 'manage toolchains' option in the welcome pane to go between different toolchain versions, instead of selecting it in the 'welcome page dropdown menu'.
Please give this a try and let me know if you encounter any issues or questions with this!
