&lt;p&gt;Another option is to use our nRF8001 which is a connectivity chip instead of the nRF51. Redbearlab has made their library for mbed to use their BLE Shield v2.1 (base on nRF8001). &lt;p&gt;I am afraid that we don&amp;#39;t have anything like that for mbed yet.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Could you describe a little bit more on which side (of that setup) you want use mbed on (or both ? )&lt;/p&gt;
