Hi @Anders Strand! I have a doubt. I'm using two nRF52840 boards. I'm transmitting some samples from the peripheral 52840 and want to receive it using another nRF52840 board(central) and view the output using UART. For this purpose, which uart example should I refer to? For. eg Im transmitting 1 sec battery status from peripheral and receiving at central and connect to UART at central to log it on real term or putty. Please help!

Yes, this is possible. Start scanning again after successfully connecting to the first device. The multilink central example does this.

thanks I have small doubt,suppose I am having one board with uart ble central code of s130 softdevice and other two boards of same code uart peripheral code in both of s110 softdevice. my question is can central can connect both uart peripheral at a time

yes you can connect uo to 3 peripherals. In the next version (v2), you can connect to 8.

Take a look at how this function is used in the example, and go from there

I have read that tutorial but clear description is not given about sending and receiving the data and from which api the data can be sent from central to peripheral. Actually my task is to send the data from central board to peripheral 20bytes and peripheral should recieve glow the led but I am not getting the data from peripheral please help me

I solved that problem by connecting to the uart central and now again I have stucked, I have two nrf51822 boards one with uart peripheral and another with uart_central now I have to send the 20 bytes of data and communicate with each other how to handle and how to send from central to peripheral and vice versa please help me regards, prudhvi.

Can you tell me more about your project? Are you connecting more than two devices together? Why must you use the heart rate central specifically? Using a heart rate central with a ble_uart peripheral requires several changes to the code, and what you will end up is basically the ble_app_uart central example.

Actually I have to connect with heart rate central to uart peripheral and to send 20 bytes of data and communicate with each other .so how can I connect to heart rate central and uart peripheral. where should I make changes to connect. Please help me thanks.

Hi.

Instead of using the hear rate central, it will be easier to use the ble_app_uart central example. You find this in "\examples\ble_central\ble_app_uart_c". This is made to connect to a ble_app_uart peripheral.

If you want to change the UUID a central connects to, this change is in the handling of the BLE_GAP_EVT_ADV_REPORT event.

Check the scanning section of the BLE central tutorial for tips.
