Correct, you can be notified that an error occured, but there is no way to get the fault reason and program counter.

I presume this information would be useful to Nordic for troubleshooting purposes, so I would like to record it in case a fault occurs.

This is the comment from modem team;

"User is not able to select the application specific fault handler, though can be signaled to the application as fatal network events (NET_EVENT_CONN_IF_FATAL_ERROR) as stated in the documentation"

Hi Hakon,

I am guessing that https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/pull/15537 was the resolution to this issue.

I would like to note that the second last issue I reported is not resolved by that PR.
Users are still unable to log the errors reported by the modem if they are using `CONFIG_NRF_MODEM_LIB_NET_IF`.
