Reset due to wakeup from System OFF mode, when wakeup is triggered by entering debug interface mode

Do you get the same error if you run the application without debugging?
Which RESETREAS do you get then?

I read POWER RESETREAS after box reboot and the value was 0x10000 .
FYI, I set break point on location_request_cancel with debugger and tried step to check when box really crashes but hang-up isn't reproduced. when I removed breakpoint and just hit go, it crashes. (with CONFIG_RESET_ON_FATAL_ERROR=n)

it just one reboot and back to normal operation. we do have log but it has no "meaningful log message like panic, hard fault".

Ah, that is interesting.

Will it reboot forever, or is it just one reboot and then back to normal operation?

Can you try to read the Power RESETREAS register to get the reset reason?

Do you have any logs from the application available? Does it log a hard fault or something like that?

It just reboot. (And I dont' think this reboot is caused by watchdog). It is not called on watchdog callback.
I tried disable watchdog but it still rebooted.
I also tried coredump when hang-up is occuring but it just reboot and there is no coredump file.
: when I called k_oops to check coredump, it was working.

You have a Watchdog enabled, but this error causes the application to hang forever even so?

Hi,

1. after calling location_request (by event), request_cancel is called by other event. (by external event. ). 2 function call is handled in same task.
this cancel is needed as a pre-step for modem-stop. and This call leads to hang-up. (not 100% but quite frequently)

2. The delay between location_request(after LOCATION_EVT_INIT_METHOD ) & request_cancel is about 200 miliseconds.

3. <callback=null in watch_dog>
after setting callback=null in watch_dog like following, I couldn't reproduce same problem. (hang-up after request_cancell is called).
Could this be a meaningful symptom for finding the hang-up issue?

:the setting I used : watch_feed = 1 minute

The delay is in between the two of those?

Have you tested how long the delay has to be?

What is your use-case where these two functions are called without a delay between them?
