&lt;p&gt;I see, so it&amp;#39;s not the nRF52 itself but something external that is not in the correct state after the power cycle.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;If you&amp;#39;re using the Softdevice then you can use&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/com.nordic.infocenter.s132.api.v7.3.0/group___n_r_f___n_v_i_c___f_u_n_c_t_i_o_n_s.html#gad767473c9cfb8cf11c66f048e0d9eb5c"&gt;&lt;span&gt;sd_nvic_SystemReset&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This sounds very strange, as evident by the log in your screenshot the Read operation performs a reset in the end. Have you tried resetting your device and see if that helps? Have you routed out the reset pin on your custom board?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Could you specify what peripherals that isn&amp;#39;t working after the power supply and exactly how they are failing?&lt;/p&gt;
