SDK out of sync while using latest version

I understand this, however I am wondering how I can get rid of the VS Code warning reported in the post. What is it that it is reporting out of sync? The NCS with respect to the toolchain? Or the west workspace itself is out of sync?

Hello,

The tagged releases can be updated sometimes, mostly if there is some major bug found and fixed not long after release.

Running west update on a tagged release shouldn't update to a newer release, just get update the current tag (v2.5.1 in this case).

I am also interested in the answer because I also have this warning with v2.5.0 after moving from a freestanding application to a workspace one that uses a local workspace NCS, but still uses the systemwide NCS toolchain installation.
