On the Linux PC i see the same serial number as on the windows PC so the PC detects the device but I can't connect. have already tried:

1) reboot the Linux PC

2) reconnect to the windows PC -> no issue here

3) redownloaded the sw on the linux PC

4) used several USB ports on linux PC

But nothing helped to identify/fix the issue...

What can I do more to be able to use this profiler on my linux PC?

RE: Power Profiler Kit II not recognized by my computer after pulling out by accident

Thank you for the update. Seems my problem was the computer. After I restarted the computer a second time, the PPK II always autodetected and connected successfully. I didn't try a different cable or computer since I was blaming the profiler. I was consistent with USB data/power.

RE: Power Profiler Kit II not recognized by my computer after pulling out by accident

Have you inspected the USB data/power connector?

Have you tried a different cable?

Have you double checked that you are using the USB data/power connector of the PPK II?

What do you see in Device Manager?
