CEDRXS is standard command specified by 3gpp. There isn’t dedicated setting for disabling unsolicited notifications and it is intended that eDRX notifications are not sent when eDRX is disabled.

Clarification to document will be added when next version is released.

It happens, when a device is switching eDRX temporary on (via "AT+CEDRXS=2...") and the off again ("AT+CEDRXS=0").

The first will result in a notification (when the device negotiates that feature with the network), but the second on is switching off this notifications as well. With that it's required to adapt the "appl-eDRX-state" outside of the callback in order to show the right value.

My point is, that a callback for switching off will make the application code easier, because that would then handle all in the callback. If that's not possible, the documentation "Disable the use of eDRX" maybe amended by "and disable the unsolicited result code".

Could you explain more about the situation that it happens in? Is it when running the AT command, or when for example switching to an incompatible network?
