I understand, but modifications or suggestions to be made for function name changes can be made to not overlap with existing function names.

These are things that I don't have the ability to do like y'all do.

That is my request.

Hi, that would be correct. We don't modify the source code provided from Amazon, we just build it and due to licensing it can't for example be distributed as part of NCS

Ah, so Nordic is not able to resolve this directly? I know that the driver is written by Semtech, but who provides the pre-compiled static library?

The idea would be to use them not at the same time, i.e. turn one off and turn the other on. I also have the same reservations, but so far it doesn't seem to be a problem.

Update: I heard back from the developers

"this library is created by Semtech, and it is tailored for the use in Amazone Sidewalk, that is why they can not include this driver in Zephyr. It could be possible to work around this if you are only using sidewalk over BLE as it would not include the Semtech driver from sidewalk. "

Using both drivers at the same time might cause issues, as we are not sure if the drivers are written in mind that they could be sharing the same hardware
