 I am confused about who can do (or rather who usually does) whitelisting - the master or the peripheral device? 
 
 My findings so far:

&lt;p&gt;Both side can do whitelist.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The scanner (and initiator) can use whitelist to filter out the advertising packet it should receive.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The advertiser can use whitelist to filter out which connect request or scan request it should receive and process.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
