The System-wide installation did the trick! I also used this install script written by Sigurd Hellesvik, which worked great and contains a solid list of dependencies.

For anyone who wants to use the script in the future, note that you have to install the dependencies (listed in nrf-connect-sdk-installer.sh) and zephyr yourself (as described here).

I enabled detailed logging, and found out that the list of SDK versions comes from the following link. This json file also only has SDKs of version 2.0.0 or newer.

I have tried both restarting and reinstalling the Toolchain Manager now, but the oldest available version is still v2.0.0:

At the very top of the Toolchain Manager there is a note saying that "toolchains older than version 2.0.0 must be installed manually" with a link to the generic NCS installation instructions. But on that page, the instructions for installing 1.9.x and earlier just mention disabling the "Show only 3 newest minor versions" setting.

I also attempted to rollback the installation instructions to SDK version 1.5.1 but that just gave me a Page Not Found error.

Hi,

After disabling the "Show only 3 newest minor versions" setting, try to terminate/restart or uninstall/install the Toolchain Manager to force it to connect and sync with the server.
