To use the modem, you need to build the application for the non-secure domain. Can you try to build for hello_board_ns (notice the "_ns" at the end) instead?

When using the modem, make sure you build for the non-secure domain (the board name should end on _ns).

I tried to build the udp sample for your custom board and NCS v2.5.0 (v2.5.1 and 2.5.2 should be the same), and had to remove the "NRF_LOG_BACKEND_SERIAL_USES_RTT=y" line from hello_board_ns_defconfig.

First of all, all config options start with "CONFIG_". However, in this case you also have the problem that the option doesn't exist at all. So adding "CONFIG_" in front will not be enough.

However, I didn't get the same error as you did, so there might be some additional problems.

Which toolchain are you using, and what applicaiton are you building?

Hi,

The SIM interface cannot be moved to different pins. The SIM card is also fully managed by the modem FW, so there are no configuration necessary on the application side.
