No, no worries, I guess we had it for a long time but never used it though. I will order a new one, sorry for the inconvenience. I will check if the problem still appears on a new board once I receive it. Thank you for your time!

That is a very old board, not even production grade. Did you order that from a distributor of ours now?

So may be a new board, but not very recent actually. Could it be a hardware problem?

What DK version do you have? There shoud be a white label on the back of the DK with version.

Thanks for your answer, yes I use the sample from ncs v2.5.2, and the function nrf_modem_lib_init() is called at the beginning of the code. I think the problem actually from inside this function

Hello,

Are you using the sms samples from for instance ncs v2.5.2, or are you on an older release?

The likely cause of the problem is missing nrf_modem_lib_init(), though I do believe this should be called if you are using the official example.
