Use the "Open VS Code" button in nRF Connect for Desktop -> Toolchain manager:

And then use the nRF Connect extension, click "Open an existing application", and navigate to the folder that contains your CMakeLists.txt. Then you can use the "Actions" menu to build and flash your samples.

Also I checked in the sample project Read me file. there we using west command for build purpose.

I tried same command . but getting below error

Thanks. I installed nRF connect and imported example project. I don't know how to build the project. Is there any document or link for build and configuration?

Hello,

This documentation is written by Zephyr, and describes how to get up and running with Zephyr directly (without the Nordic part of the NCS). If you want to install the nRF Connect SDK (NCS), I suggest you go down the path of the toolchain manager instead. Try downloading nrF Connect for Desktop -> Toolchain manager, and it will set up everything for you.
