It is my first time that I use a Bluetooth chip so I am following all your code stack and some answers of this portal, but I am having problems with the UART over BLE for communicate my PCB (based on NRF8001) with smartphones.

So I was confussed, I thought that the nrf8001 could be used with any bluetooth serial app. I was wrong. Now, you have opened my eyes. Thank you very much.

Apps that I was using: nRF UART 2.0, Bluetooth Serial, Ble UART.

I see that you have code stacks for Android and IOS for make an app yourself, so this is now my way.

Thanks again, Anders.

RE: nrf8001 UART with smartphones

Have you looked at the Nordic UART-over-BLE examples for the nRF8001?

If it works with Master control panel, it is the other apps that are the problem.

What apps are you using? (post links). There is no standard Serial port protocol for Bluetooth low energy like there is for classic bluetooth. The uart over BLE service is something Nordic has created, and is not a standard service.
