Yes, the IC was assembled in week 38, 2017 and is part of wafer lot JD, see Ordering information for more details on the IC markings.

Yes, the IC is a QFAAB0 with 512kB flash and 64kB RAM.

Here's a photo of the IC I purchased from Digikey recently.

I'm a little confuse. The date code looks like it was made mid to late 2017.

Is it

QFN48

according to this table?

All chips in the nRF52 series are marked in the following way

N52XXX
PPVVHP 
YYWWLL

where

So a chip with the following marking

N52832   
QFAAAA 
1509AA

means that it is a nRF5832 chip in QF package and variant AA. Produced in week 9 in 2015 and is a part of wafer lot AA.
