&lt;p&gt;you can use Atollic with the nRF5.
Create an &amp;quot;Embedded C Project&amp;quot;
Microcontroller family &amp;quot;Generic Cortex-M&amp;quot;
Microcontroller &amp;quot;Cortex-M0&amp;quot;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Add the nrf5 Lib to Libraries.
You must use the correct Linker Description File.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Registers in Debugview:
You can set the correct Registerfile.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I hope Nordic will add Atollic to the list for example projects.
Atollic is now free to use.
Only for advanced debugging features (SWO, Trace, ...) you need the pro version.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Unfortunately, Nordic Semiconductor is not listed on their target support page:
&lt;a href="http://timor.atollic.com/products/target-support/"&gt;timor.atollic.com/.../&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;You could contact Atollic and ask if they plan to integrate the Nordic platform into their suite.&lt;/p&gt;
