&lt;p&gt;The text &amp;quot;Enable power output&amp;quot; in Ampere meter mode may be a bit misleading, but you use it to enable/ pass through current if you like. So you can basically control when to turn on and off the device you are measuring by toggling it.&lt;/p&gt;
