&lt;p&gt;You can determine which version of the BLE protocol the SoftDevice has been qualified for by&amp;nbsp;looking up the&amp;nbsp;&lt;a title="Bluetooth QDIDs" href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/comp_matrix_nrf52840/COMP/nrf52840/nrf52840_ble_qdid_qual_matrix.html?cp=5_0_3_4"&gt;Bluetooth QDID&lt;/a&gt;. For instance, s140 v7.2.0 is qualified for BLE 5.1.&amp;nbsp;For comparison, the current Bluetooth stack in the nRF Connect SDK is qualified for BLE 5.4. However, note that many Bluetooth features are optional. Therefore, the version number alone does not provide a complete picture in terms of which BLE features are supported.&lt;/p&gt;
