I see. Summing up, the device seems to be be poperly powered as you see it pulsating red when forced in DFU mode. However, you do not see LED when not in DFU mode. Is this consistent? And you never see the device via USB? Is this also the case if you try to physically push the connector etc? (As it suddenly stopped working I wonder if there oculd be an issue with the connector). Can you remember what happened just before it stopped working?

Thanks for your attention. I tried your sugestions and unfortunatly without results. So I think this unit can't be repaired or getting alive.

I see. Do you see any light if you (also) plug in the "USB POWER ONLY" port? And does putting pressure on the USB connector have any effect (in case it has been physically damaged and putting preassure on it could help it make contact)?

Also, can you verify the position of the power switch? (That should not be relevant as you see a short red blink, but just in case).

Hi,

When i plugge in the device, it do not light up. When i switch it off and on there is a very very short red blink of the LED's.

In the devicemanager noting changes when i plugge the PPK2 to my computer.

I can't remeber anything special hapened. I was testing a couple of devices and after some it stopped working.

By the way, is DFU mode the same as bootloader mode?

Hi,

I see. You should see it light up in any case when plugged in. And as you see it light up when in bootloader mode, it is at least powered.

Do you not see any trace of it neither when in DFU or normal mode on the computer? (In Windows, you could check the device manager, on Linux you could check with lsusb or dmsg.

What happened before the devicew stopped working? Could there be a physical issue, like a bad conenction in the USB connector or similar?

Indeed i use the correct port and i tried it on a different PC with a different USB-cable.

Hi,

As it was working before with no obvious change I wonder if you can check on the back side where the USB ports are marked adn verify that you have plugged in to the "USB DATA/POWER" port and not (just) the "USB POWER ONLY" port?

If that is not it, what about testing another USB cable and/or USB port on the computer or another computer?
