The problem was fixed. Thank you for the guidance link.
Actually the error was not caused by DTS.
The root cause is the BSEC lib needs a partition for internal state storage, when I enabled the partition manager and made sure there is a 'settings_storage' partition in the file build\partitions.yml, the compilation was successful.

Is your issue resolved? I can see that you have created another ticket with a very similar issue. I am attaching a Zephyr guide, which you can follow to debug this device tree error. Please go through the guide and make sure you have included everything and configured it properly.
