&lt;p&gt;I assume you&amp;#39;re referring to Out of band (OOB) here, correct?&amp;nbsp;An NFC reader should also be able to do BLE OOB pairing, but we don&amp;#39;t have samples/firmware for the reader to do OOB, so that would be something you need to implement yourself I think, but it should definitely be able to do OOB pairing.&lt;/p&gt;
