&lt;p&gt;I also tried to build it adding the nrf7002.overlay and still got the same results.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This indicate that the firmware is unable to communicate with the nRF7002.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can you share how you build/configure? I assume you&amp;#39;re using a nRF7002-EK mounted on the nRF52840-DK?&lt;/p&gt;
