I mean:

The IP your nRF52840 gets will probably be set in drivers running on the nRF52840.
I do not yet understand which drivers this is, so I am unable to help you look for where the IP is configured

I am currently trying to update data using the udp to uart module.
I'm trying to transmit data by moving the send and receive codes on the uart side to the udp side.
So, instead of setting the IP using USB, I set the IP and port on the module.
However, in the auterm program, the only part that connects IP and port is the target part.
So data is being sent, but receiving is not happening.
I think there is a place in the auterm code to set a port or IP to receive data. Do you know anything about this?

Is there any reason to why you can not send messages directly over UART?
Why do you need specifically UDP over UART?

The nrf52840 dk evkit does not have an Ethernet port, so I asked if I could use the Ethernet to USB module.

Then, I want to send an image file via UDP to UART. I want to use the UDP to UART module to send it to UDP in the auterm program, then change it to UART in the module and send it to the board.

Is it possible to do dfu in the same way as above using the auterm program?

And is the protocol different when sending via udp and uart in the auterm program?

Hi,

You first need a way to add networking to the device.
Is USB over ethernet your preferred method? We rarely see that used in products. What is the protocol you intend to use for DFU for your end product?
