I aim to enter a system off state after a certain period of inactivity from external peripherals. I recently came across the function
nrf_power_system_off
, which I believe might fulfill this requirement. However, I'm seeking clarification: If I invoke this function, will it effectively put mcu in sleep mode? Additionally, upon receiving an interrupt on a specific pin, will it reset the microcontroller?
Please take a look at the Bluetooth:Peripheral power profiling sample inside the SDK.

Could you explain a little bit more on this, like what you want to achieve or what your use case is, because nrfxlib does not directly provide functions to manage system power states or enter sleep mode? But it does provide libraries that can be used to optimize power consumption.

Please expect a delay after this response as we are having Easter vacation here in Norway. I will be back only after the 2nd of April. Sorry if this creates any inconvenience.
