my quiet new (bought about 2 weeks ago) nrf52840dk board is not working properly. I had it running for 1,5 weeks or so without any problem but today it just stopped working. I disconnected it from my compter and connected it again. No LED is turning

RE: nrf52840dk not working properly

Glad you are back in operation. Having had a dozen or so of these boards pass through my hands, I know how scary it can be. Nice thing is they are relatively cheap. First rule of government spending "Why have one when you can have two at twice the price". However, in my experience 3 is a magic number.

RE: nrf52840dk not working properly

Alright. My fault.

Must have never noticed that the switch was not in nrf ONLY before.

Just read the documentation to this switch, thanks!

RE: nrf52840dk not working properly

pretty sure the leds for the chip are disabled when SW6 is set to nRF ONLY.

RE: nrf52840dk not working properly

Power Switch (SW8): ON

One power switch towards the CPU itself will disable the LED power supply (SW6). Other switches change the source of power (usb, or power input header, which after I read again, you have already attempted). Also SW10 should be investigated.
Of course, make sure the area is clean in clear before plugging it in again.
