Are you talking about clock synchronization? They should be synchronized from the network, at least in the case of modem time.

I was trying to find which of LTE operations in powerprofile are needed for synchronization for communication.

if you see LTE profile, there are Network sync, SIM sync, RRC setup/reconf, TAU, DRX inactivity timer and so on.

I'm guessing some of these are for payload delivery. But I only need to know synchronization operations.

would it be simply just these two, Network sync, SIM sync?

I am not familiar with this topic, and I don't think this is something Nordic supports at the moment, but feel free to do some research yourself.

Can you be a little bit more specific? What do you want to know about LTE synchronization? If it is about the modem functionality, I'm not sure if this is something we can share if it is not mentioned in the PS.
