Hi.

I have checked this, and it will work correctly when VBAT is not present.
SHPHLD is actually pulled up to the higher of VBAT and VBUS.

We'll update the PS to clarify this.

It's not designed to be operated without a battery.

Once more. I'm not interesting in the ship hold function.
I want to know how the RESET function is executed when the internal pull-up RSHPHLD is float (the VBAT pin isn't externally connected).

If you remove the battery, the ship hold function is disabled. When you connect the battery again, you have to enable ship hold it this is needed.

Thank you for your feedback.But I asked about the RESET function of the SHPHLD pin, not the shipping hold function.

The nPM1300 PS states in Section "7.5 RESET — Reset control" the following:
The SHPHLD pin is a reset control, in addition to being used for exiting Ship and Hibernate mode.

"A long logic-low (> tRESETBUT ) on SHPHLD causes a power cycle and resets the whole system. This feature is
enabled by default after power-up,"

The SHPHLD pin is active Low, When the battery is disconnected (or not available) the RSHPHLD is pulled nowhere. Which level has the SHPHLD pin in this situation and how the reset function is executed?
