The latest SDK is actually 10.0.0. Anyways, it should work out of the box with SoftDevice S110 8.0.0. Use the SoftDevice found in \components\softdevice\s110\hex in the SDK. And the project found in \examples\ble_peripheral\ble_app_beacon\pca10028\s110\arm5_no_packs

Re 8.0.2 version of S110, this was installed in a software pack in Keil MDK v5 at the following location on my machine: C:\Keil_v5\ARM\Pack\NordicSemiconductor\nRF_SoftDevice_S110\8.0.2\hex But, as I noted, nRFgo Studio reports this to be v. 8.0.0 from its internal details.
I have three types of hardware: the nRF51-DK (currently used for the results listed above, PCA10028, v1.1.0), the Beacon (PCA20006, rev 1.0.0, not currently being used for this development), and a private design, very similar to the beacon (with nRF51822 QFAAH0, the eventual target). Mike

I'm not familiar with the SoftDevice S110 v8.0.2, only 8.0.0. What kind of hardware do you have? nRF51 DK? nRF51822 Smart Beacon Kit?
