There was a problem with USB cable.

We have changed the cable and tested. It is working fine.

In the present time, it is able to communicate with Windows10, but it is not showing in MacBook?

Does it require any extra configuration in USB initialization?

Hi,

The nRF52840 has a USB interface which consist of VBUS, GND, D+ and D- which is USB 2.0 if I'm not mistaken. If you want to connect this to USB-C then you have to give special attention to the CC1 and CC2 as these pins are used for cable orientation detection, and defines the role of the device.

Is the device going to be a USB host(downstream) or a USB device(upstream)?

Most likely it will be USB device.

If it's going to be a USB device then you typically need to connect a pulldown resistor to both CC1 and CC2 pins. This means that the host will power the device.

Letting the CC pins float will result in unpredictable behavior.

I'm not an expert in USB-C but I don't think you can let both CC1 and CC2 float like that.

Ok, So SDK examples does not work USB C-type connector only with USB B-type connector?

Can you share the schematics that shows the connection between the USB interface on the nRF52833 and your USB -C connector?

USB Samples in the SDK are working perfectly. However, when I test that example with USB C-type connector,

it fails the operation.

Is there any extra configuration require for USB C-type connector rather than USB B-type connector because it is working done with USB B-type connector.

For simplicity and better understanding, i am going to attach our sample code with you.

Yes, I have developed with USB example but it was working perfectly.

However, i have tested with USB A-type connector and now, i am testing with USB C-type connector.
