If I follow the steps as given in exercise 1 of AT commands to set up the modem I get the same return. I rather think it could be due to the SIM card.

But I have no idea what I could change about it.

Hi,

I also tried the Asset tracer from the quick start and with this I cannot connect to the mobile network either.

But what do you mean by connecting to the AT client?

I am using NCS v2.5.2.

does it connect using the AT client sample? Have you tried any other networking sample? What NCS version are you using?
