I don't know what connection parameter changes would be effective in solving this problem

RE: Bluetooth scan peripheral reported an error

Hello,

0x3E is the HCI Error Connection Failed to Be Established.

It typically comes due to interference, for example from other 2.4GHz devices, such as the other devices you have connected if the connection parameters are set too small to handle multiple connection at the same time

You said that you see this occurring when you're using other devices nearby? I guess then that this error would make sense. To counter this you could for instance try tweaking the connection parameters.

0x22 is BLE_HCI_STATUS_CODE_LMP_RESPONSE_TIMEOUT, and the reasoning there might not be as obvious. Maybe a sniffer trace might describe the situation better, but if they show up together I guess they are related. Maybe handling the connection parameters will fix both.

Regards,
