I just saw this come up on my nrf Connect app on my pixel 8 phone, while I was running the multi_adv_sets example was running on my nrf52840.

I am glad I am not the only one who saw this... (sdk 2.7.0).

Looking at the Gatt service, I did attempt to enable a default one and that name was listed on it. I deleted it and now I can't recreate it.

Anyways, it's probably in the phone app source code someplace.

Hi,

I have tested your project and peripheral_hr, and don't get like your figures.

You probably load the GATT server setting in the app. You could disable it from the left corner of the app -> Configure GATT server -> Disable

I just ran C:\ncs\v2.6.0\zephyr\samples\bluetooth\peripheral_hr and it shows these predefined services and UDS with these names? Im confused how this could be. I did a diff on the peripheral_hr files they are the same.

I pulled out all the HRS and battery stuff, I still see a (predefined) Heart Rate and (predefined) Current Time Services.

Where do you get the sample? Could you share the link or Could you upload the project via Insert-> Image/Video/files from the toolbar?

peripheral_hr isn't what I started with. There's another unknown service 0000aaa0-0000-1000-8000-aabbccddeeff that I can't account for either.

DK_LIBRARY or SAMPLES_DEFAULTS or something is implementing these services...and I didn't really do too much.

there is no reflash service in that three dot drop down. I see a refresh and that doesn't help.

Ok. Not fun troubleshooting this.

CONFIG_BT_OBSERVER=y
CONFIG_BT_PERIPHERAL=y

my code is a peripheral, broadcaster, and observer. I don't know what is adding this UDS service. I guess I will try to reproduce in peripheral_hr

I may just live with it for now. Just FYI there's other people seeing this name / service and confused by it too. If you want the full code, I can send it privately. I'm using an NRF5340DK and the thingy53.

I don't see that with the NCS v2.6.0 peripheral_hr.

You could try to reflash service from the top right corner.

This is a project that I created from multiple samples, I believe it came in with prj.conf

CONFIG_BT_BAS=y

CONFIG_BT_HRS=y

I will check more later when I can test. I'm using v2.6.0.

Connect with nrfconnect app, connect to device, goto server tab. 0x181C is there with these silly defaults. Or maybe I'm picking it up elsewhere, let me know I can tear it apart a bit more to try and isolate it.

Hi,

Which NCS version and sample are you using?

Could you provide the path for the sample?

The peripheral_hr doesn't include the UDS service.

Please elaborate in more detail on how to reproduce the issue.
