Hello Amanda Hsieh I didn't see the logs because Fanstel module TX and RX pins are different. It working for me now. I am able to send data back and forth. But, I instead of using nRF connect nus examples on both side, I used nRF5_SDK examples.

Could you provide the RTT logs from both sides?

Could you use the Serial Terminal app of the nRF Connect for Desktop?

Amanda Hsieh Thanks for reply. I flashed the Bluetooth Peripheral UART example from the nRF SDK connect on nRF 52840dk that you provided. I connected this with the nRF connect ios app to check if I can send data back and forth. The LED1 keeps on blinking showing that it is in the advertisement state. LED2 when connected with the ios app turns on with LED1 on constant blinking state.

But, on the COM listener, I didn't receive any data. Also, I am not able to type anything on the COM listener.

Could you suggest what could be the issue?

I have also tried 'forced on the local echo and local line editing' in putty along with implicit CR in every LF and CR. with this I can write data on the COM listener but I did not get any notification on the ios app. Also, when I sent data from the ios app, I don't receive anything on the COM listener

Hi,

Since the central_uart example from nRF SDK Connect requires to pair, but the ble_app_uart example from nRF5_SDK_17 doesn't support pair. I suggest developing both sides with the same SDK instead of two different SDKs. Please use Bluetooth: Peripheral UART for the test.
