The only solution I have found is to install desktop 4.0.0 and the power profiler app 4.0.0-beta6 and never upgrade it.

Hi,

We don't have build instructions for general use, unfortunately. Perhaps an alternative could be to use a Ubuntu 22.04 in a VM and run nRF Connect for desktop from there? That is not elegant, but should work.

Update: You can also try to downgrade the PPK app to version 3.5.5. Note that for that you need to use the olde nRF Connect for Desktop 4.4.1 (version 5 will not work).

Thanks for your response.

Apple doesn't support my hardware beyond the current version I'm using. "Buy a new mac" isn't a workable solution.

Are there any instructions for building the desktop application and other apps? I'll happily build it myself.

Hi,

macOS 11.7 is not fully supported, and we will not make any effort to support it better going forward. Please update to a newer macOS release.
