Is there any drawback or limitation in the S140 SoftDevice (v7.3.0) if a connection (as master) stays open for a very long time (weeks)? I mean, there could be any issue, inestability, memory corruption, crash, etc.?
Thanks in advance,

RE: Long-duration connections in S140

Hi Mario,

I'm not aware of any issues in the SoftDevice that should prevent you from having long-running connections. However, there may be external factors such as poor link budget or bugs in the application that can cause the connection to drop. You should consider configuring your application to automatically reconnect in case of connection loss.

Best regards,
