I already looked at other questions in the forum but couldn't find any help. I'm trying to implement an example of Https with basic authentication on my nrf9160dk board.
Is there anything that can help me? or can you help me?

I have only few information about the server: I know that it allows https connections with user/password authentication. Actually I probably can make the server adapt to my needs.

Thank you for your help!

But do you have any knowledge about the server you are trying to interface with? The implementation will depend on the format that is used by the server.

RE: Https post with basic authentication

Hi Hakon and thanks for your reply!

I would like to elaborate a https request to a server, that could contain:

- authentication with user and password to a server

- multipart-form-data with some metadata fields

The final goal is to upload to the server data recorded by my nfr9160 based device in a (minimal) secure way.

Thank you!

Can you elaborate what you mean concretely by "basic authentication"? Maybe there is already a sample in the SDK, and if not it shouldn't be too hard to take the closest fit and modify it.
