I have only few information about the server: I know that it allows https connections with user/password authentication. Actually I probably can make the server adapt to my needs.

Sorry for late reply. But do you have any knowledge about the server you are trying to interface with? The implementation will depend on the format that is used by the server.

Perhaps whatever functionality you are asking for can be added to https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/samples/net/https_client/README.html, if it doesn't already support that. If desired I could put together something simple, but that will need to wait a few days most probably.

I would like to elaborate a https request to a server, that could contain:

- authentication with user and password to a server

- multipart-form-data with some metadata fields

The final goal is to upload to the server data recorded by my nfr9160 based device in a (minimal) secure way.

Can you elaborate what you mean concretely by "basic authentication"? Maybe there is already a sample in the SDK, and if not it shouldn't be too hard to take the closest fit and modify it.
