&lt;p&gt;What sample is your project based on exactly? This error points to there not being an HCI driver registered at all. Can you confirm that&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;CONFIG_BT_HCI=y is set in your prj.conf, as well as upload what Bluetooth HCI driver is used with&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/kconfig/index.html#CONFIG_BT_HCI_BUS_TYPE"&gt;CONFIG_BT_HCI_BUS_TYPE&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
