After uninstalling nRF Connect for Desktop, I deleted the folder where the software was installed(C:\Users\your_user_name\.nrfconnect-apps), then installed an older version of nRF Connect for Desktop, specifically version 4.1.1. In this version, I went to the settings and clicked to check for updates, but did not update nRF Connect for Desktop itself. This allowed me to install all the software to their latest versions within it. Upon completion, you&#39;ll receive a prompt stating that the version needs to be greater than 4.4 to use the software inside. At this point, go ahead and install the latest version of nRF Connect for Desktop, and it seems the issue is resolved.
