I set all of my GPIO pins to the default config except for my wake up, configure the appropriate bit mask in the Sense module and then go to sleep:

&lt;p&gt;The&amp;nbsp;&lt;a title="System OFF mode" href="https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ps_nrf52833/power.html?cp=5_1_0_4_2_2#unique_64273339"&gt;System OFF mode&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;section of the PS states that all on-going EasyDMA transactions must be completed before entering System OFF mode. So, in addition to terminating the link and stopping the advertiser, please ensure that there are no other DMA-enabled peripherals active before calling pm_state_force().&lt;/p&gt;
