Thanks, yes it is working now. I installed Segger studio that might installed some missing JTAG drivers and now it is properly showing with device name First then vscode.

I am not sure if I understand your issue properly because your device is detected properly inside the vscode.

How are you connecting your external board to the development kit? Please follow the steps mentioned in Debug Out for programming the external board section inside the product specification.

I have another strange issue now.
I am using nRF52 DVK and it is showing me this on VS

Is there any specific settings or firmware that i need to do to connect it with the board.
My primary goal is to program the external board through this DVK.
Is there any guidelines for that purpose.

After multiple try, finally it pickup. Not sure what's the problem was but it resolved now.

Hello,

From the logs you shared, it looks like the issue was with cloning the repository from Github. I recommend you try using another network for downloading if the issue is still persistent. Update the toolchain to your latest version and try to install the SDK using the toolchain if you're still encountering the issue.

Maybe a problem with the GitHub server? I don't know. I was able to install it just now.

The same problem; since yesterday, I can't install "any" toolchain version. I tried reinstalling everything, but it did not work.
