You can try to downlaod files for the nRF9160DK, here: https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-hardware/nRF9160-DK/Download?lang=en#infotabs It conatins the AT client. But it is build for the nRF9160DK so if your custom board uses other pins or whatever it might not work exactly as expected.

Det file is in the img_app_bl folder and is named nrf9160dk_at_client_2024-03-13_af2b60d2.

Did you know where I can find the AT client firmware ?

If you added the modem firmware there as well then it should also have been upgraded.

Hi Jonathan,

I'm able to flash via SWD with a J-link connection.

What I have done yet is reset the AT client firmware on my NRF devboard via "quick start" software, then copy the fimware via via the "programmer" software and flash this firmware to my board.

With this method did I flash only the application firmware or both application and modem ?

You need to program the device over the SWD interface.

You need to flash the Modem firmware and the application firmware(AT Host or whatever you want on it).

You can use a couple of different method but an easy way is to use the nRF connect for Desktop Programmer App.
