&lt;p&gt;In the img_app_bl folder, there are 6 hex files. These hex files are for different applications. These applications are:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/applications/asset_tracker_v2/README.html"&gt;Asset Tracker V2&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/samples/cellular/at_client/README.html"&gt;AT Client&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/2.3.0/nrf/samples/nrf9160/modem_shell/README.html"&gt;Modem Shell&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/samples/cellular/nrf_cloud_multi_service/README.html"&gt;NRFCloud Multi service&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;and &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/applications/serial_lte_modem/README.html"&gt;Serial LTE Modem&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;which application you want to flash on the DK?&lt;br /&gt;Also, note that only the Asset Tracker application has two hex files, one for the LTEM and the other for the NBIOT.&lt;br /&gt;So if you plan to use/try the Asset Tracker, then chose the first file as that&amp;nbsp;should work for the LTEM.&lt;/p&gt;
