&lt;p&gt;Both I can see are internal regulator supply decoupling, if you have not mounted any capacitors I suspect instability and oscillation in the regulators, very likely this can cause a range of issues (e.g. noise and ripples that will affect in specific the analog circuitry, such as radio).&lt;/p&gt;
