Hi Michal, Ive taken another look at the code, unfortunately I'm still stuck.

Ive ruled out that it is my DK as Ive gotten another one to test my code on.

Also I dont think there is an issue with my SIM card as Ive replaced that too with one that should work.

The DK definitely connects to the network as I get events on my MQTT broker that the device connects but as mentioned earlier it seems that the 'handshake' or whatever it is called does not occur.

Im honestly at a loss to what could be causing this issue.

Just as a note, confirm that the cellfund exercise works on a DK for you? Then I can pinpoint whether it is something Im doing wrong?

On further inspection, I do not seem to establish the PDN connection, is that something I should look into?

Hi Michal, Apologies I was on leave last week.

Ive already tried different brokers and all have the same error and behaviour.

On a personal broker Ive found that the connection does take place, the broker registers that a device with the correct IP address connects, but then the client seems to hang as a client connection is never started as shown in my first post.

What if you try another broker?

For example try reverting that commit:

Good evening Michal. Those were the logging options I already added to the prj.config.

My only difference from the normal ./v2.4.0-v2.x.x/lesson4/cellfund_less4_exer1_solution example is the logging that you suggested.

Section starting at 1:40.990 to 02:42.956,481 repeats indefinitely leading me to suspect the mqtt_evt_handler isnt being called.
