I'm testing the nPM1300 with the battery inside the Thingy:52, which has rated capacity 1440mAh and rated voltage 3.7V.
The charge current is 800mA.
I set the V_TERM = 4.2V, V_CUTOFF = 3.0V, and capacity 1440mAh.
After 2 days battery

RE: nPM1300 Power Profiling Overcharge

The rated capacity of a battery is normally the minimum capacity guaranteed by the manufacturer. The actual capacity is always higher than this, 5-10% is typical.

I checked this and the profiling has finished successfully. We have tested the very same battery few months ago and it measures around the same capacity. Nothing to worry here.

This will not affect the fuel gauge performance since algorithm follows the open circuit voltage curve of the battery.
